Founder Alan Howard is a highly experienced TV producer, director, and editor with over 30 years in the industry. He has a history of working with major broadcast clients such as ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky One, The Discovery Channel, and MTV amongst many others. Alan's experience, creativity, and enthusiasm make him the perfect choice for producing great entertaining wedding videos that stand out from the crowd and truly capture the essence of your special day.
Specialising in filming with the public and new presenters means that filming weddings, and making nervous Brides and Grooms feel at ease in front of (and away from !) the camera comes as second nature.
Alan toyed with the idea of marketing these videos as "Wedding videos for people who don't like Wedding Videos" but got talked out of it by his other half, the long suffering Bev.
Starting his career at a fledgling MTV Alan started by making sandwiches in the kitchen and eventually went on to work with many bands that his kids have never heard of, The Cure, Bon Jovi, Take That and every big band of the 90's, eventually leaving as a Senior Producer Director in the Specials Department. It was here he gave the first presenting job to an enthusiastic young ball of energy by the name of Davina McCall.
His first network job was as a director on channel 4's "The Real Holiday Show with Gaby Roslin", we'd meet a family on the Thursday and go on holiday with them for a week on the Saturday, so the ability to get on quickly and disappear into the background when required, whilst always getting the shot, was paramount.
Several years later, and with 2 shows he made nominated at The Royal Television Socity Awards (Best Documentary Series & Best Factual Entertainment Series) Alan still produces high end corporate videos and the occasional live show, but it's the characters and atmosphere of a wedding that really gets the creative juices flowing.
In the 1980's Alan was in a band with Ricky Gervais, and Ricky's favourite film was Spinal Tap... If you watch Spinal Tap, a mockumentary, (or "Rockumentary") it bears a striking resemblance to the mockumentary that is "The Office".
